In 2024, the SA-126 Special will challenge the status quo with Wolfgang Van Halen's vision of a modern 21st century guitar.

The EVH SA-126 Special is expertly crafted with a hybrid design, combining elements of both semi-hollow and solid body guitars. Its innovative design includes chambered/center block solid body construction, a bolt-on neck, slim profile, jumbo frets, and high output pickups, resulting in a versatile instrument with the perfect balance of power and speed. Developed by industry expert Wolfgang Van Halen, this guitar offers a blend of heavy rhythm tones and lightning-fast lead capabilities.

Boasting a Mahogany body that is chambered and stabilized with a basswood centerblock, the all-new SA-126 is topped with a maple top (on solid finishes) or quilt maple (on transparent finishes) with 5 ply body binding. Featuring a 22-fret, 12”-16” compound Ebony fingerboard with jumbo frets and triple block inlays on a graphite reinforced mahogany neck, this guitar offers a scale length of 24 and three quarters for a modern yet familiar feel. Plus, the spoke wheel truss rod adjustment at the butt end of the neck allows for easy, on-the-fly adjustments.

The SA-126 Special is available in 4 different finishes, including Tobacco Sunburst with Gold Hardware, Transparent Purple with Chrome Hardware, Matte Army Drab, and Stealth Black with Black Hardware. Additionally, the package includes the SA126 Hardshell case, which features an Ivory vinyl wrapping and a blue crushed velvet interior.
