Featuring a 3-tone Sunburst finish, roasted alder body, and roasted maple neck, this instrument cloaks itself in Nitrocellulose lacquer to preserve its stunning beauty. Its electronics showcase 3 vintage single-coil pickups, adjusted by a 5-way switch, volume and tone knobs. With a classic vibe and modern touches, this vintage-inspired instrument is primed for reliable and enjoyable play.

Nitrocellulose Lacquer (otherwise known as "Nitro") has become a highly sought-after paint finish in the guitar world due to its aged appearance, its effect on the tone of the instrument, and its period-accurate traits for classic guitars. Nitro is more organic than modern Polyester or Urethane paints and has a thinner coating when it is dried. Because of this, many vintage guitar enthusiasts claim that Nitro allows the wood's inherent resonance to come through better. Knowing the specific characteristics of this finish is essential for its maintenance and conservation.

The Cutlass 58 is equipped with three classic single-coil pickups, featuring Heavy Formvar .42 AWG gauge wire and Alnico V magnets. Testing of several late-fifties pickups led to the selection of those which best produced that characteristic warm sparkle, rich low-end, and sparkling highs.

Limited to 100, each guitar comes with a custom G&G hardshell case and a numbered certificate of authenticity.
